The same listing cannot be pasted across marketplaces
Most sellers write one product listing and reuse it everywhere. It does not survive the trip. Amazon India caps a title at 75 characters; Flipkart and Meesho give you 200. Meesho accepts no bullet points at all and expects a description roughly twice as long as Amazon's. Amazon screens a list of around 55 promotional words that Flipkart largely permits.
So a listing written for one platform is typically too long, too short, or too promotional for the next one — and it gets suppressed or rejected rather than ranked. The table below is the same set of rules the generator enforces.
Listing rules by marketplace
What each platform actually accepts — and what the generator writes to
| Marketplace | Title length | Bullet points | Description | Keywords | Banned words |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon India | 40–75 chars | 5 | 500–900 chars | 10+ | ~55 screened |
| Flipkart | 140–200 chars | 5 | 500–900 chars | 8+ | ~16 screened |
| Meesho | 140–200 chars | Not supported | 800–1500 chars | 6+ | None enforced |
| Myntra | 140–180 chars | 5 | 500–900 chars | 6+ | None enforced |
| Shopify | 140–200 chars | 5 | 500–900 chars | 8+ | None enforced |
Amazon India
The shortest title limit of any Indian marketplace, and by far the longest banned-word list. Copy that passes on Flipkart is usually too long and too promotional for Amazon.
Flipkart
Titles need to be long and specification-dense. A 70-character Amazon title left as-is wastes more than half the space Flipkart gives you to rank.
Meesho
Meesho does not support bullet points at all. Everything a buyer needs has to live in the description, which is why it wants nearly twice the length of the others.
Myntra
A tighter title cap than Flipkart, and fashion attributes — fabric, fit, occasion, sleeve length — carry most of the search weight.
Shopify
No marketplace algorithm to satisfy — you are ranking in Google instead, so the meta title and meta description matter as much as the product copy.
What every listing includes
Generated to the selected marketplace's format
Per-platform character limits
Amazon caps titles at 75 characters. Flipkart wants 200. Myntra stops at 180. The generator writes to each target's limit instead of trimming one title five different ways.
Banned words screened out
Amazon India rejects listings over roughly 55 promotional words — 'premium', 'best', '100%', 'stylish'. Those are filtered before the copy ever reaches you.
One product, every marketplace
Generate once, get a compliant version for each platform you sell on. No rewriting the same product five times in five different formats.
Structure that matches the platform
Meesho takes no bullet points at all and wants a much longer description. Amazon wants five bullets and a short title. The output shape changes with the target.

Ecommerce listing generator FAQs
What is an ecommerce listing generator?
An ecommerce listing generator turns a product photo or a few details into the complete set of copy a marketplace needs to publish it — the title, bullet points, description and search keywords. The useful ones do it per marketplace, because Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra and Shopify each accept a different title length, a different description length and a different structure. ListIQ generates a separate, compliant version for each platform from a single product.
Can one tool really handle Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra and Shopify?
Only if it treats them as five different formats rather than one. The gap is wider than most sellers expect: Amazon India allows 40–75 characters in a title, while Flipkart and Meesho allow 140–200. Meesho accepts no bullet points whatsoever and expects an 800–1,500 character description, roughly double what Amazon wants. A tool that writes one listing and pastes it everywhere will produce copy that is rejected on at least one of them.
Why does Amazon India reject listings that pass on Flipkart?
Two reasons, and both are mechanical. First, length — an Amazon title has to fit in 75 characters, so a 180-character Flipkart title cannot simply be reused. Second, prohibited words — Amazon India screens against a long list of promotional and subjective terms including 'best', 'premium', 'stylish', 'trendy', '100%' and 'free shipping'. Flipkart screens a much shorter list, so copy written for Flipkart routinely trips Amazon's filter.
Do I need a different tool for each marketplace?
No. ListIQ has a dedicated page for each platform if you only sell on one, but the generator itself is shared — you pick the target marketplace and the same product produces correctly formatted output for it. Sellers listing the same catalog across Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho generate all three versions in one pass.
Is the ecommerce listing generator free to try?
Yes. Every account starts with free generations and no credit card is required. After that, ListIQ runs on monthly plans or prepaid credits — you can see the current rates on the pricing page.
Does it work for products I only have a photo of?
Yes. Upload the product image and the generator reads it to identify the product, its category and its visible attributes, then writes the listing from that. You can also start from a title or a short description if you would rather type than upload.
